Nail File Grit Descriptions, Cleaning Instructions and Nail Care
Grit Descriptions
The higher the number, the higher the grit, the higher the grit, the smoother the file. Typically, you'll use a coarser grit for shaping and a finer grit for the finishing touches. The lower the number the harsher the file is going to be on your natural nails.
Important Tip! Do not file nail edges back and forth - ONLY file one way. You can really damage the integrity of your nails when filing back and forth. Same thing goes for the surface of the nail, only file in the direction of nail plate growth, never back and forth.
